Jammie Gaymon was born in Washington, District of Columbia, on Wednesday, December 10, 1975; he was a son of Jimmie Lee Gaymon and the Late Earlene Nixon.

“J-Rock” as he was affectionately known, was educated in the public schools of Clarendon School District One and attended

Scott’s Branch High School in Summerton, South Carolina. At an early age, Jammie joined House of God of Manning.

He was employed with Copeland Lawn Finishing as a Machine Operator in Sumter.

“J-Rock” lived a simple life and there was never a dull movement when he was around. Jammie was the type of person whom could make you laugh no matter his mood. “J-Rock” had a special zeal for his family and friends. Jammie relished spending time with family, especially his nephews and nieces in which he loved so dearly. In his pastime, “J-Rock” enjoyed fishing and spending quality time at the lake.
