Mary Ella Scott was born December 18, 1945 in Williamsburg
County, Kingstree S.C. to the late Mr. Joe Scott, Sr and Mrs. Mary
Lee Shaw Scott.
She entered into eternal rest on Sunday May 24, 2020
at her residence in Pinewood, S.C.
She graduated from Tomlinson High School in Kingstree in 1965. She
also attended Florence Darlington Technical College and received her
nursing degree in 1968. She worked at Williamsburg Hospital in
Labor and Delivery until she retired to take care of family.
She was a Godly woman of great character and integrity. She leaves a
legacy of love in the hearts of those of all who know her and those that
were touched by her life.
Those left to cherish her life and legacy of love is one sister Delma Lee
Dow; four brothers Richard (Brenda) Scott of Florence, S.C.;
Leroy(Helen)Scott; Kingstree, S.C. Linen(Ella Joe) Scott ; Kingstree,
S.C. and Matthew Scott; and two sister-in-law’s Claudette Freeman
of Miami, Florida and Dr. Mary Magaline Scott-Nelson of Kingstree,
S.C.; one brother-in-law Louis Brailsford of Pinewood, S.C. a host of
nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
A special thanks to Kindred Home Health and Richard and Brenda
Scott for the compassionate care provided.
She was preceded in death by three brothers Michael Scott, Freeman
Scott, Joe Scott, and two sisters Flossie Scott and Vertaree Brailsford
