Mr. Ralph Alton House entered this world on November 23, 1941, Baltimore, Maryland to the late Jennette Wilson and Ralph House, Sr. At an early age he was baptized and joined the St. Matthew AME Church in Summerton, South Carolina.
He received his education in the Public School System of Summerton South Carolina.
In 1960 he came to New York and labored at many jobs. Ralph was blessed with a son named Rickey Ellison. He became employed by the New York Transit authority in 1970. In 1980 he met Freda Louise Thompson who would soon become the love of his life. Years later after his retirement in 1991, they were united in Holy Matrimony in 1992, and that same year they relocated to Chesapeake, Virginia.
He departed this Earthly Life on Sunday, June 14, 2020.
Ralph is preceded in death by his mother, Jennette Wilson, and his father, Ralph (Gladys) House, Sr., His grandparents Moses and Mary House, one brother Nathaniel Scott, two sisters, Mary Ann Sisco, and Lenora Jenkins and one brother-In-Law, Eddie Jenkins.
He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memories, a loving wife, Freda Louise House, two sons, Rickey Ellison, & Anthony (Monette) Thompson, one brother, Lawrence (Carol) House, one grandson, Clayton James, granddaughter, Kaliya Thompson, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
